Al Capone
Al Capone was one of the most profittable gangsters inAmerican history because of his missions to smuggle and steal. One of the richest men alive and the most infamous, Capone hid his dark side from anyone in the public and kept everything about his gang and himself secret from others. This tactic seemed to work until he was caught in October 17, 1931. Before he was arrested, he ordered the St. Valentine's Day Massacre which supposedly happened when Capone and his gang had dressed as fake police when "capturing" 7 victims. With them all tied up, he macine-gunned and shot-gunned them resulting in public hatred and a major scandal for Capone. His files were searched for anything to do with the occurrence and was found guilty. He was sentenced 11 years in prison but was later on shipped to another jail. In an Ohio prison on January 21, 1947, Capone got a stroke and became mentally and physically malnutritioned from the imprisonment. He managed another 4 days before finally dying on January 25, 1947. His body was buried at Mount Carmel Cemetery. ( www.biography.com, Al Capone-Biography)

Capone's Gang
The most important of any gangster's crime is their gang. This was Capone's gang and they worked on secret missions together. To keep his team together, he had to keep close relationships with his people. These were the men who had also participated in the St. Valentines Day Massacre including the murder of 7 gangsters who were Capone's enemies. As stated in the picture, these men were captured and and put into the "Men's Cellroom".
