Prohibition and Gangsters in the 1930's
During the 1800's to the 1930's, people in America started to drink alcohol for a pleasure and for fun. As more and more people became unaware of the fact, the prohibition became an epidemic and people in families were affected greatly by temperance and chaos erupted. Gangsters took advantage of this time to rob. Later in the 1900's, gangsters had already made many great profits from their missions and some have become famous like Al Capone. It was especially easy for gangsters because they had temperance at their side to help them win the fight but eventually the plague was stopped by a series of protests and the power of the government.
